Even Democrats Agree That Trump Just Delivered the Greatest Congressional Address Ever
(00:01.166)
certainly something. You don’t see that every day. Group speech. Wow. I think he knocked it out of the park, quite frankly. And as it turns out, the overwhelming majority of Americans did as well. You’re talking close to 80 % of the people approved his speech, liked his speech. Did you understand those? Try to
Get your arms around those numbers. I haven’t had a chance. I haven’t had chance to take a look and take a look at the approval ratings of speeches in the past. I’m sure George W Bush’s speech post 9-11 probably had, you know, fairly decent ratings. But Donald Trump, Donald Trump, you mean the guy that the mainstream media is telling you everybody hates.
Everybody hates the guy. my God, they can’t stand him. He gets an approval at close to 80 percent. And it was funny, I was watching this morning, watching some of these town halls that the media like to hold. again, CNN was just like, they didn’t know what to do. They know what to do. And the overwhelming majority of people were like, yeah, this is great. fascinating to some degree. But anyway, neither here nor there.
it really does show and watching what took place, watching the Democrats and how they behave. I don’t understand this. mean, I could sit, I could sit, could put the party you’re in. And if a politician said something that I happened to agree with, could, I could applaud along.
I get it. It’s they’re like a bunch of, I don’t even know what they all, they all do the same thing. All the, were going to give in marching orders. Do any of them at all have any sort of opinion on their own or they just look, I don’t know who’s running the Democrat, maybe it’s, you know, maybe Obama put out the marching orders. mean, he obviously ran Joe Biden. All the exact same thing. You can’t applaud.

or stand up a kid with cancer, a kid going to the military academy, a hostage that we got back from Russia. That’s too much. That’s too much of a stretch. Funny too, it was like the day or two before they had all of these Democrats coming out and putting out videos and they were identical. Identical in what they said. What does it say about them, quite frankly?
What does it say about their overall intelligence? It’s not working, it’s not selling. If you’re crying out loud, you even had guys like David Axelrod come out and questioned, know, what are you doing here? I don’t think that’s gonna bring any wins to the table, just shows you how bad their situation is at this point in time. Without a doubt, you know, I think
Donald Trump, highlighted the things that he was doing. Again, they, for whatever reason, they keep trying to destroy Elon Musk, but the American people love it. Again, how could you not like, how could you not like somebody going out of their way, working for free, trying to save the taxpayer money? And that’s, know, Democrats are pushing back against that. They’re trying to explain to people that somehow that’s bad. Okay, okay, have at it.
still trying to explain that we should having boys playing girls sports. I Trump brought up the volleyball story where the girl got the ball spiked into her face by a male. Also mentioned one where there was some race where the male won, well, male won racing as a girl. Obviously, it some ultra marathon or whatever it be, won by like five hours or biking. I’m not exactly sure, but you get the point.
One thing after another, after another, after another. The one aspect there that, again, he rolled out when it came to tariffs, he it’s going to take a little bit of a hit right now. And I said that. I’ve been saying that as well. It’s just going to be a hit. Not to mention there’s going to be a hit to the economy because government spending is being cut and a lot of our GDP has been based upon that. You’re already seeing stories in the mainstream media. They’re bringing up that S-word stagflation.
(04:40.184)
Stagflation is negative economic growth with inflation at the same time. they’re really, they’re pulling out all the stops. This is Wall Street Journal as well, trying to take him down. But again, getting back to the speech overall, I think it was excellent. Highlighted what he has done for the past six weeks, what he’s looking to do.
very, very optimistic, very optimistic. But you know, it was different. It wasn’t pie in the sky. So much pie in the sky type crap. Maybe I mean, the idea of balancing the budget, quite frankly, you know, is kind of pie in the sky. It wasn’t George W. Bush, you know, talking about he’s going to run the United States Navy on fuel from algae and switchgrass and all sorts of other nonsense. Wasn’t Joe Biden said he was going to cure cancer.
Was it Barack Obama saying all sorts of nonsensical stuff about transforming the economy and all this green nonsense? It was just overall positive in regard to the direction of the country, giving power back to the people, getting rid of regulations, letting people go out and build and create, which is things, again, that we love and we like to talk about. If there would be one thing I’d push back on when it came to Trump’s speech, and I know this is a bit of nitpicking, but…
It’s okay, I can do that here, my show. You don’t have to constantly hammer home Joe Biden, the worst president in history. It’s almost redundant to some degree. You could just point out the policy failures and they kind of speak for themselves. I know he kind of likes to freelance for certain things, but I just wouldn’t have done that.
I can’t recall a time where a president would give a speech, in essence a State of the Union address, dressing Bointhe, in both chambers of Congress, and having that much of a positive response from the overall country. Fascinating, really is. Watchdog on wallstreet.com.
