Are Presidential Pardons for Sale?
(00:00.364)
Do we have another pardon for sale? Now again, first and foremost, critical of both parties’ presidents when this is done. We can go all the way back, all the way back to to Bill Clinton. Remember, he pardoned Mark Rich. Remember him? There was Denise Rich’s husband. He was on the lamb in Switzerland and he was trading oil with the Iranians. And again, Denise Rich was a big contributor.
He’s a songwriter to the Clintons and he got off. But this has happened for some time. It’s been, I’m sorry, you can’t argue this point. It’s been egregious during the Trump administration so far. Take a look at the amount of pardons that he has doled out to guys that I go after. So I kind of take it personally. I do. How can I not? Guys that we have covered here.
On the program. Ponzi schemers take, you know, taking advantage of senior citizens from Long Island. The guy from what’s his face there? The the truck company there that they that basically won. Remember, he had the fake truck that was at this one scam after another scam after another scam. And these financial fraudsters are let off the hook and
The irony of it is that they’re writing checks. They’re cutting significant checks to the president, various different committees, whatever it may be. And it looks like we got ourselves another one. Charlie Javis, Charlie Javis ripped off JP Morgan. and I again mighty people say, who cares? I ripped off JP Morgan. Listen, okay, I
Pulled a fast one on JP Morgan where JP Morgan wasn’t paying attention. I get it. But you’re talking about fabricating documents and data. And well, she was sentenced to seven years in prison. And this was a years-long scheme trying to, again, dupe, dupe JP Morgan.
(02:22.325)
She claimed that she had four million users for her company when it was only a fraction of that number. And again, she created and she fabricated data to support those claims. We cover this here on the program. She is well, she’s been sentenced to eighty-five months behind bars and also ordered to forfeit assets, hundreds of millions of dollars, which she has not done. So what is she doing? She is
Well, she’s pushing the president right now, pushing the president right now for a pardon. She still has access to those funds. again, not not gonna look good. another one that th this might happen as well is the Binance guy. I I have no problem with pardoning people.
That again served some time, showed that you know they were did the wrong thing. I I I I get that, okay? I understand that. These are financial crooks. These are financial crooks, again, served any time whatsoever. And, you know, time and time again, these are they’re getting out of jail free without even most of them even going to jail.
Or they go for a day or two and they get pardon.
This doesn’t make
(04:01.665)
The new, it doesn’t really make big, it’s it’s kind of fascinating to me, too. It’s almost like that you know, nobody wants to bring it up as far as the mainstream media is concerned, just in case they might, you know, need to get out of jail too. I again, we’re all supposed to be equal under the law. There, there’s no doubt. There’s no doubt what what this lady did. You know, Trevor Milton. Okay, same thing. There was no doubt.
in in what he did. I don’t understand what warrants a pardon in a situation like this, quite frankly. I I I really don’t. And I’m being honest with you, it it frustrates the hell out of me.
It really does. It frustrates the hell out of me that you know
(04:52.78)
You can go out and you can knowingly, and okay, who got hurt? It was JP Morgan. But in Trevor Milton’s case and other ones’ case, that’s not the case. It just we need to have we need to have a set of rules and laws here in this country that’s applicable to everyone. If not, we are no better than some sort of half-ass third world country.
