Here’s a see I told you so moment and a follow up story. Spirit Airlines. No, I’m not going on a spree. I’m sorry. I’ve seen what goes on. I see at airports, you know, that they’re reading around Spirit Airlines. Things get a little bit nuts. They got bloody websites chronicling it. But anyway, a few years ago, Spirit Airlines and JetBlue were looking to merge.
It was rejected by the Biden administration. And we said here on the program, what are you doing? What? Why? Why would you redact that? you know, you know, it’s going to be bad for the consumer and it’s going to reduce choices and, you know, they’re going to have low cost airfare out there. And I again said, well, is it going to be better if Spirit Airlines goes bankrupt? Because this was basically a lifeline.

They just came out of bankruptcy protection five months ago. They cut its debt when they restructured, tried to market.
