So I do a lot of guest appearances, radio, TV, podcast, you name it. And I don’t particularly like being thrown off. I kind of pride myself, the amount of prep work that I do to know a little bit about everything. But anyway, saw this today, invited on a program today and I’m asked about this new job trend called bore out. And I’m like, what the hell is a bore out?
So I had to do some homework on this thing. Okay, we went over quiet quitters, right? Then there was this loud laborers thing, which we’re seeing right now with the UAW. So there’s a new trend, new trend for American workers, borrower out. And this is what it says, a situation in which workers are bored, unengaged and unfulfilled in their jobs. Yeah, we have that.
We have that at Markowski, in fact, well, we don’t have it. If we happen to see it, we have a remedy for it. It’s called, you’re fired.
Yeah, you can go. There’s the door. You’re bored. Shouldn’t be bored, quite frankly. But anyway, let’s get into this. Chronic boredom. You know, I know that’s somehow okay now. You can just smoke pot everywhere. I don’t know. In the past, people who did bare minimum work were pegged as lazy. Today, that same situation is called quiet quitting. Yep, she says you can put the two trends in the same category. Yeah, again, this is a virus. This is all you employers there, and I know nobody likes to fire.
people, you know, but the reality is, yeah, this is a virus that will infect your office and you got to get rid of it. You have to. You have to get rid of it as soon as possible because it’ll start affecting others there. And then again, I always go back and then sub referencing great scene, television show entourage, which I couldn’t make today, which is just a shame because the show was great.
when R.E. Emanuel goes back, buys his old firm up, and this goes in there with a paint gun and starts shooting people that he’s firing, which is kind of funny. But anyway, yeah.
