Taxpayers Lose Again
(00:00.51)
So taxpayers, we have lost again. Yep, congressional leaders have, they’ve come to an agreement on a new stop gap spending bill. They’re going to extend government funding into March. That’s right, they’ve been running short on the short-term spending since the start of the fiscal year in October 1st.
Again, they got to fund some departments through March 1st while extending funding for some of the other ones. Again, did they get their job done? No. And again, it’s frustrating to people that bust their butt, people that maybe weren’t able to take a week off or two over the Christmas holiday because they had work to do.

I’m running the House of Representatives. I’m running the House of Representatives and our job, that’s what we’re supposed to do is come up with spending bills, fund the government, make budgets work, do all of these things. Oh, sure. You want to go home for Christmas? Fine. Go home for Christmas. We’re back to work the next day. You don’t get breaks. You don’t get vacations.
doesn’t happen, you get your job done first. Do members of the United States, you know what, we’re gonna defend this country, we’re just gonna take a couple weeks off. We haven’t gotten a job done. I mean, no, this is your job. So again, what have they decided to do? Weren’t able to complete it. We’ll just, we’ll kick it to March. We’ll kick it to March and not get a damn.
thing done. And again, it’s the meet the new boss, same as the old boss when it comes to this. And we’ll see what’s going to happen next. Again, they’re still going back and forth in regards to funding for the border. And if that funding goes through whether or not they’re going to send money to the Ukraine or flush, my opinion flush money down the toilet, in that case, both places you’re wasting money on the border as well.
unless you’re actually putting it to good use. No sense in hiring more Uber drivers quite frankly because that’s what they are. Sending more money to that black hole that is the Ukraine, that’s going nowhere. So you’ve got all of these issues going on right now at this point in time. And again, they can’t sit down. They can’t figure this out. We’re gonna say, nah, we’ll push this off into March. Taxpayers lose again. Watchdog on wallstreet.com.
