Tariffs Fading? BMW Exec Predicts End of Trump’s 25% Import Tax on Foreign Cars

I love making fun of economic metaphors, but I got one. light at the end of the tunnel, light on the end of the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to tariffs. Could it be? Starting to see things here and there. You know how they some of the ones was one of ones that Cudlow likes. I think it was Goldilocks. Was he also green shoots as well when it was talking about the economy? But anyway, the head of BMW.
Oliver Zipsey. He, he seems to think that the tariffs on foreign cars are going down. BMW reported profits for the first three months. And well, again, you know, you’re taking a look here, he is saying he expects that Trump’s 25 % tariffs on the import of foreign cars would be dropped.

Why would he say that? The much easier thing to do is just to expect the tariffs are gonna go on, lower expectations and beat them. So again, seems like it must be confident here. There must be some things happening behind the scenes and we’re pulling this stuff off. Again.
