Red Dawn 2026? Socialists Sweep New York
(00:00.402)
Red Dawn 2026. I love that original Red Dawn movie. That was when I was a kid. It was my generation. We were all young and we were got invaded. We got invaded. yeah, the Russians came here to the United States and Wolverines, and it was yeah, all us young Gen Xers out there fighting against the commies. Who would have thunk it? 2026, we’re in this position today.
Mam Dani back socialists sweep New York House primaries. And everyone’s getting their underwear in a bunch about this. New York City Mayor Zoran Mandami’s endorsement proved influential in three key congressional primary races. his favored progressive candidates prevailed over opponents more closely aligned.
With the Democratic Establishment, which is on its way out the door. New York State Assemblywoman Claire Valdez and Harlem Community Organizer. Daralisa Avila Chevalier, both of whom were backed by the Democratic Socialists of America, won races of New York’s 7th and 13th Congressional District. Meanwhile, former city comptroller Brad Lander.
he big time progressive pulled off an upset of incumbent representative Dan Goldman. Okay. and again, I I’m getting a kick out of the the media coverage from all the powers that be with this, even even within the the democratic establishment. let’s go back in time, shall we? Let’s go back in time, go back to
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. she won in New York a massive upset win. Massive upset win. Nancy Pelosi, one of her best buddies, got got ousted in New York and it was that’s no big deal. One time thing. And they’re making the same excuses. They’re always low turnout, yada, yada, yada.

AOC is one of the biggest stars of the Democratic Party at this point in time. They said back then she was going to be a flash in the pan. I want to remind everybody as well that if it it wasn’t for, I mean, that the Democrats kneecapping Bernie Sanders in 2016, he should have been the one running against Donald Trump in that race, not Hillary Clinton.
They need capped him. They did. They took him out. He was the one that should have been. They took him out. That was a Democratic establishment move. I’m going to read this is this is from I got some insider baseball as some of the Democrats, what they’re talking about behind the scene, the establishment Democrats. Hopefully, three lessons will be learned from tonight’s New York primary.
This is the version of the Democrats that the voting population of New York wants. We need to stop pretending it’s not the case. The Democratic Socialists of America is effectively in charge of the New York City Dems, but gaining ground in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Hudson Valley, too. This happened because you wanted the tent to be big. Now you have to live with it. You gave these people an inch, they took a mile.
And now the Democratic Party has been captured by socialist communists, much as the Republican Party is wholly owned by Trump. yeah, I agree with that 110%. That this is this is an inside baseball, okay? This is what the the the the establishment democrats are saying. They’re not wrong, and it’s not wrong about Republicans.
As well. Like I said, I, you know, I left the Republican Party back during uh George W.’s era. But I you know I’m a conservative guy, but I’m politically homeless. I don’t have a party. Anyway, um, as for the Jews, well, the DSA blame the community for everything anyway, so nothing really changed here. For uh Jewish organizations who still believe DSA elected officials will change or moderate or something, really need to adjust their expectations, though.

It’s 100% guaranteed they will ratchet up their anti-Semitic agenda now that they have power. They don’t want our friendship. Number three, older boomer voters that establishment centrist Democrats thought were on the right side are not. Boomers like to pretend they understand the struggles of their children and grandchildren, struggles that they are largely responsible for creating.
And we’ll vote DSA, Democratic Socialist America, into office because they legit think everything is a re-litigation of the 1970s or 80s or some kind of protest. They actually said the worst group of people ever to exist. I I listen. Republicans.
Republicans I I’m watching them out. this is great new. They’re all laughing. that’s great. you know what this means? these people are not gonna win anywhere else. This is gonna be fantastic for us. This is gonna allow us to pick up more seats.
Sure about that?
(06:01.985)
Are you sure about that? Because again, you were saying the same thing about Aeon.
Saying the same exact thing.
(06:16.609)
How anyone thinks that this is somehow good. And they’re right now that they’re playing politics. Like, this is great. I mean, this is great that we live in a country that we won the Cold War. I guess and it’s this is my lifetime. Okay. people wanting this in this country. I mean, you you take a look at the things that these candidates have said, you’re you’re talking about, I mean, they’re full on, not socialists, they’re full on communists. They want,
asset forfeiture. They wanna take your stuff.
They wanna take your stuff. And
Who’s fighting against them? I I know president came out, was criticized all the socialists out there.
(07:07.531)
I I don’t know. I mean it’s are are they they much are they really much different?
(07:15.537)
I I don’t know. we don’t really there’s truly not I mean, again, the MAGA movement Trump owns the Republican Party. I mean, again, he he ousted.
Yeah, yeah. Most most conservative vote, reliably conservative vote in the house, Thomas Massey.
He got his buddies to spend tens of millions of dollars to oust, constantly going after reliable, you know, conservative votes ousting them. I I don’t know. What what does this tell you? I mean it maybe just overall.
Voter dissatisfaction with anybody that’s ever been in the mainstream that they’ll vote for a it’s like anything else, no matter what it is. The old we’re gonna throw shit on a wall and see what’s gonna stick.
Could be.
(08:18.029)
Could be. but again, these ideas, the things that these people are saying, I mean it’s
(08:28.454)
Couldn’t believe, like I said. I’m I’m a child, you know, Cold War. And this is this is who people are voting for. Wow. Watchdog on Wall Street.com.
