Mug Shots and Shame
(00:00.826)
I’m sitting here in Tampa studio, one of the great radio stations that carries my program here as we’re on the road this weekend watching the Fox News and what not television shows, stations, they’re in the background, TV’s here, there and everywhere and all anybody wants to talk about is Donald Trump and his mugshot. To me it’s this is just a national embarrassment is what it is.
You know, you got the media following his motor cave and everyone, you know, posting the shot. Donald Trump’s, I guess his website, he’s raising money, raising money with various different tchotchkes and items with his mugshot on it. Donald Trump took to Twitter, first post since his January 6th ban. First president in history to get a booking photo.
um they he put his weight in there they at 215 pounds as well they’re talking about that whether or not that’s uh accurate or not um again what did he what did he put out now um i don’t basically just ignore he’s gonna it’s gonna use this it’s gonna get messy he you know i election

At what point in time people are we going to just say you know enough’s enough we’re going to have to move on from all of this? Do you really want I’m asking directly do you guys you guys really want a Biden Trump rematch? Do you think that this is going to help the country in any way shape matter for them? You think it’s going to take us to another level get us back on track? I certainly don’t.
I certainly don’t and again I get it all the time. I get it all the time from all the super Trumpsters out there and you know, well you know, ridiculed and this is they keep coming after. I get all that but you also have to recognize that the guy has always been his own worst enemy when it comes to the things that he does and I’ve always been a big believer that you know, you’re going to have to.
at some point in time, work with people, even work with people that you disagree with vehemently, you might not even like. And you need to do that in order to, again, move the ball forward down the field. And again, I look back at his presidency. And again, you may have just saw the debate, you had Mike Pence, you know, proud of everything that went on during his presidency.
I voted for the guy twice. It wasn’t my choice in 2016. I wanted Rand Paul to win. But again, like the old South Park episode, sometimes when you have a choice between a giant douche and a shit sandwich, you make that choice. I don’t know if I’m going to even do that anymore. If I don’t like the candidate, it’s not going to bother. Just, you know, what’s the point?
his presidency as a wasted opportunity because I was really excited. I was really excited with the Republican platform that they put out in 2016 and the things that they had put forward and the things that they said that they were going to do and that they didn’t follow through on. Go back and take a look at that platform.

You know, everything from going after the big Wall Street banks and looking to break them up. There were so many things. To watch Republicans fail. Fail. They had both houses of Congress. To watch them fail in repealing and replacing Obamacare. And I know, people, wow, it was John McCain gave the thumbs down. Wow. People, if it wasn’t McCain, it would have been somebody else.
But again, it was how it was handled. You know, the fact that you’re ridicule, you may not like McCain, but you ridicule the guy and make fun of him because he got shot down over Vietnam. You know, my stomach turned. My stomach turned when he did that. No, I’m not, like I said, it wasn’t a.
Oh, John McCain policy fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I certainly could respect the man.
certainly respect what he’s done and what he’s gone through in his life. And when you get into the vitriol and the nastiness, it’s hard. I mean, you’re making your job more difficult.
And it seemed like that’s what he did again and again and again and again and again. I listen, okay? You know, getting back to the mugshot and everything that we’ve looked at and what we’re seeing and what we’re going to have to watch. Yeah, I just kind of wish the guy would say, you know what, I’m going to deal with this, okay? I’m going to try to help from the outside and try to, again,

be all about make America great again, all that great stuff. But if you honestly think that at this point in time, he’s gonna be able to get stuff done in Congress based upon all this, this one distraction after another distraction after another distraction. You know, can’t you think be a, I don’t know, more of a power that be if you’re kind of on the sideline or helping out to some degree? I don’t know.
people. I don’t. All I know is I’m sick and tired of watching all of this stuff. And again, to me, it’s a bit of an embarrassment. Watchdog on wallstreet.com.
