James Comer is right
I’d like to applaud James Comer, House Oversight Committee Chairman, because he’s being consistent. And I wish we had more members of Congress that were doing that. He acknowledged yesterday that Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, crossed the line, ethically, because he accepted $2 billion from the Saudis. Again, Who reported on this? Who’s been reporting on this? And it’s one of the reasons why I try to avoid these political scandals and talking about them because I honestly believe that many of these investigations are just show trials. They just want to keep business as usual. Like I said yesterday, they want that oligarch money. Just that simple. The Kentucky Republican has been leading a congressional probe into President Biden’s role in Hunter’s influence peddling operation. Spotted the comments from former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie accused Kushner of grifting. Yeah, we talked about this months ago. I’ve been vocal that I think what Kushner did cross the line of ethics. Comer told CNN’s the lead host Jake Tapper, noting differences between Hunter Bynes and Kushner’s business dealings. But what Christie said, it happened after he left office. Still, no excuse, Jake, no excuse. And this is what happens all the time. Again, this always happens after they leave office. I’ve done podcasts on this and I don’t wanna rehash the whole American hustle story again and how this operates, but that’s how oftentimes many of these people get paid. And again, not to mention get paid. you lose your job and get voted out of office, you find yourself a cushy job in some university doing nothing all day long. Or somewhere else, Hedge Fund, Wall Street, it doesn’t matter. I remember I got a kick at it when Jeb Bush was governor of the state of Florida. He gets termed out and all of a sudden, magically he’s a big executive at Barclays Bank. Doing what? Showing up at conferences and shaking hands. Not bad. And again, yeah, and as you think of that other scene from the Sopranos and Christopher Moltisanti pulls up in his Range Rover outside a work site in New Jersey, opens the window, he starts busting stones all the way out there. He says, I can sure get used to this, no show work stop. I mean, it’s basically what they get. They get no show jobs for the rest of their lives, but this is how they’re paid back. And again, Kushner got a $2 billion investment from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund with a annual management fee of $25 million. Now, Jared Kushner, if you take a look at his business acumen and his past dealings, not good, not good. I can tie this into. Chelsea Clinton’s husband there, Movinsky. His mother was a congressman from Michigan. Her father ran an investment scam, went to jail. He decides to start some sort of hedge fund. Obviously he’s a Clinton now. Bill makes a few phone calls. All sorts of money flows to his hedge fund that he proceeds to blow up and lose everybody their money. Again, big club, we ain’t in it. dot com.
