Global Tensions Rising: Markets, War Fears & Uncertainty
(00:00.654)
Fear, dread, and loathing in DC and yeah, I’m praying for tacos. You notice I didn’t even bother. I let it go yesterday and comments on tweets that came out from the president over the course of the weekend in particular on Easter Sunday. This morning, this morning in between guest appearances, I see this. A whole civilization will die tonight.
I said again, a whole civilization will die tonight. Never to be brought back again.
Again, if you’re not familiar with the history of Persia, I strongly suggest you get yourself a library card and get yourself to a library and start reading some books. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have complete and total regime change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail.
Again, a lot of the stuff I’m trying to make sense out of it doesn’t make much. Maybe something revolutionary, wonderful, revolutionary, wonderful can happen. Who knows? We will find out tonight. One of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world. 47 years of extortion, corruption and death will finally end. God bless the great people of Iran.
Since that tweet was issued, guess, from what I’ve heard is Iran has cut off any sort of communication with the United States, checking the various different news agencies within the Gulf. They’re expecting to get taxed everywhere, all of our allies in the Gulf region. This weekend, past weekend, get a…

had a great weekend. It’s always great when I have all my kids under one roof and also seeing, dinner with my brother, my mom and family. It’s just a wonderful time. Not to mention the fact that we had a crew here at our house and we have that a lot. My house is basically like a youth hostel for my kids, kids friends down here in Florida and I love it. I love it. So a lot of my son’s friends, these are.
know, kids that played D1 sports, hockey players, lacrosse players, you know, here at the house, barbecue and having a grand old time. These are people that, these are kids that were all in Trump. No more.
No more. And you know, can call it anecdotal, call it what you want. Okay, I’m dealing with, you know, red blooded kids on a regular basis in the sports that I’ve coached, the kids that I know, and it’s pretty much across the board.
They don’t know what’s going on. They can’t even believe what they’re watching as a matter of fact. And again, you can go on today. Even the, you know, even the sycophants on Fox and Friends, I got a clip of that after reading this tweet, didn’t, you know, look speechless, didn’t even know how to react for it. Maybe they’re waiting for another message from their producers telling them exactly what they should have to say. Again, they’re not the smartest tacks in the box by any stretch of the imagination.
I tried to explain asymmetrical warfare. It was yesterday on the show. I kind of get forget from time to time. just want to let everybody know some of the things that are happening around the globe right now. You’re not getting this information from any of the outlets here. You’re really not. What this war is doing to people all over the globe.

Right now in the Philippines, they have just announced a national energy emergency. They are gonna be rationing fuel. In India, there’s actually protests are breaking out all over the country because of shortages of cooking gas. Restaurants all across the country have taken actually hot food off of their menus, even tea.
This is all over the country.
Bangladesh, they’ve closed all of their universities and they are rationing fuel. Ethiopia, all non-essential government employees have been put on leave. Sri Lanka has gone to a four day work week and they have fuel rationing. Thailand, major diesel shortage. Farmers aren’t able to harvest their crops and their fishing industry is being shut down.
Fertilizer shortages are going to be commonplace, which is going to drive the cost of food up globally

think about our interventions, our interventions in the past, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, you know, one could say, you know, being involved in North Africa, Libya, Syria for a period of time. Yeah, that led obviously to a massive refugee crisis, which has affected Europe. But this is really hitting the entire
globe and
I don’t think it’s fully priced in.
I don’t. What I’m telling you right now, again, this is you talk about pricing in risk. You could see a major.
Again, I speak with people that are in this. There it could happen very, very quickly where things could escalate quickly. To say the least, and see a massive spike in oil. This you know, I read this tweet. It reminded honestly, it sounded like it was like a bad movie.
(06:50.22)
It was like it was some, you know that it was bad. was don’t look up was out during COVID. It was a global warming thing. anything, you know, it’s like a bad movie starring like Jonah Hill or Seth Rogen. Okay. That’s just like, you would see something like this in a bad movie, a tweet like this from a president because no one would believe it.
(07:15.438)
Now we’ve never seen anything like this. And again, you’ll see anybody who criticizes this or questions this type of language, oh, you’re just as worse, you’re just, and again, which takes you to an actually, you know, it wasn’t a bad movie, it was a fantastic movie, Idiocracy.
And if you’re able to justify or explain away this type of talk and language from the leader of the free world.
I’m sorry. Tell me this is art of the deal. Don’t tell me this is always just Trump being Trump or anything like that. We could blow up the world five times over.
And this stuff gets all around the globe. How do you think this is making other nations feel confident in the United States? United States is a good partner?
And again, it’s just a list of things that have happened over the past several months. Everything from, you know, threatening to, you know, annex Greenland, making fun of dead European soldiers that fought with us in Afghanistan, in Iraq. It’s kind of one thing after another. You know, I’m sorry. Okay. I’m sorry. You know it. Okay. You know it.
(08:45.068)
Don’t defend this. Take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror.
A real good, look. You’re gonna defend this type of language, this type of talk, okay?
Okay, I can’t help you. I really can’t, but I’m telling you right now, I am praying for tacos. Praying for tacos. I hope this thing ends. Trunk always chickens out. I hope that that’s the case. Watchdogonwallstreet.com.
