Climate Pledge Lies

Oh yeah, you remember the Paris Climate Accords? Yeah, we made fun of that great deal here on the program because we told you it was all a lie. It was all a joke. And again, I guess you gotta laugh sometimes or you’re gonna get angry. You watch all of these diplomats, politicians patting themselves on the back like they’re so awesome, giving themselves a standing ovation for nothing. Nothing.
And that’s what it was. We told you it was going to be, and that’s what it is. Yeah, all of these nations that promise to, ah, we’re cutting back on our fossil fuel production. Right, right. They’re all stepping up production of oil, gas, and coal. Stepping it up. Yeah. The top 20 energy producing nations.

back in 2015 Paris climate oh we’re so awesome look at us we’re great we’re wonderful human beings yeah we’re gonna slow coal oil and gas production to keep the climate from warming more than 1.5 degrees Celsius yeah no yeah whereas United States
coal production by 43%. China says they’re gonna cut it by 15%, but we know that’s not gonna happen. You got new coal production in India, Indonesia, and Russia. So all of those cuts elsewhere are useless. Useless, again, the whole thing from the get-go has been an absolute.
disaster and we’ve chronicled the entire thing here, what a joke it was. Well, it’s not a joke if you are on the receiving end of government subsidies and handouts based upon stupid policy. There is, like I said, an intelligent way of handling. If carbon is your thing, you go the nuclear route. It makes sense. But again, why would these wizards of smart ever start using their brains?
