Why Is the FTC Approving Boeing’s Dangerous Deal?
(00:01.038)
There’s a complete and utter void of logic and reason at the Federal Trade Commission with Lena Kahn. We’ve gone off on some of their endeavors, most of which have failed miserably since her tenure began. Again, try to explain to me why, why it’s a bad thing that if I wanted to order something on Amazon,
I’m gonna get it for a low price and deliver it to me by this afternoon. How is that detrimental to the consumer? Again, she wants to throw the entire idea of it being beneficial to the consumer, actually looking at that on its head. Again, no logic and reason. And I’m gonna give a big example of this. Boeing, Boeing right now.
is trying to buy back, buy back, they sold it. Spirit Aero Systems, Boeing and Spirit, and Spirit is the fuselage maker. They split 20 years ago and they were closing in on an all cash deal when Boeing switched an offer to consisting mostly of company stock. Take that and put that aside. Both of these companies,
Both of these companies are being investigated. We’ve got hearings going on at Congress. We’ve had planes fall out of the sky. We’ve had doors blown off. And the FTC thinks that it’s fine that we’re gonna let these two companies get together.

Where’s the logic and reason behind that? You’re looking to break up success stories, but you’ve got two fumbling, bumbling, you know, companies at this point in time, and you think them allowing the merge is going to make the situation better? What exactly do you people do there at the FTC? Watchdog on wallstreet .com.
