Trump Drops the Tariff Hammer
(00:00.46)
So Trump drops the tariff hammer. Yeah, he pledged that after he’s going to take office, big tariffs going on Mexico and Canada and China. Posted on his Truth Social platform. First day of his presidency, Mexico and Canada 25 % tariff on all products coming into the United States.
additional 10 % tariff on all products coming in from China. And he didn’t specify whether that levy would come in his first day in office. This tariff will remain in effect until such time as drugs in particular fentanyl and all illegal aliens stop the invasion of our country. Woo, we again, no fear.
in this guy in a polite society, polite society with ambassadors that they don’t like this stuff. Trump’s not playing their game. And what’s interesting is, is you’ve got this new president of Mexico. She’s quite the leftist. And we’re hearing all of a sudden she’s bending all over backwards to please Donald Trump.
There was a big, big car plant BYD, the Chinese electric car company was basically finalizing plans for a factory in Mexico. Yeah, Mexico, this story today, Mexico gets cold feet over new Chinese EV plant after Trump win. And it’s, you know, Trump saying, okay.
Who’s more important to you? Trade with China or trade with the United States? And again, there’s a myriad of things that we could do in regards to making life difficult when it comes to tourism and a myriad of other things. Maybe, just maybe, the threat of these tariffs will force the Mexican government to actually do something when it comes to the drug cartels.

and the human trafficking and all of that stuff that takes place. I don’t know, could be me calling me crazy. As far as Canada is concerned, again, it’s probably saying the same things. Again, it’s perception. we’re gonna, everybody’s getting 25 % here, but you know, until you guys start seeing things our way. Again, great negotiating tactics by the president.
You’re gonna see all left wing media, they’re all gonna be clutching their pearls. They got the vapors over this. But again, it’s a bit of Trump’s art of the deal. Watchdogonwallstreet.com.
