The TRUTH About Obama’s Big Healthcare Lie
(00:00.63)
Shut up Obama. I’m so sick of this guy and his mouth, his quasi-intellectual trying to come off like he’s some sort of real smart guy. Give me a break. This is a tweet that he put out. More than six million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are brushing up pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act. If the House passed the bill, it will increase costs and hurt. Yeah, I just saw it. I know it’s…
yourself.
Affordable Care Act. You know what the word affordable means? I’m gonna enigo Montoya. You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means. Affordable? I challenge anyone right now. Anyone out there that tells me healthcare in the United States is better today. Better today.
than it was before Obamacare.
You can’t, because it sucks.
(01:12.174)
It sucks. Like I said, I’ve thrown my hands up in the air for crying out loud. I’m complaining about this the other day. I’m like, I might as well just start my own insurance company and self-insure for everyone here at Markowski Investments. The costs are insane. I can’t even keep track of what it covers because I’m always paying for something.
Family of five, healthy family of five with a, what was it, per person, like seven, $8,000 deductible. Yeah, we got health savings account. can put seven, put money into that. I’m still paying over $36,000 a year.
Yeah, I had a family of five before Obamacare. I had a family of five before Obamacare was playing less than 10.
And you’re telling me this is affordable? Can’t find a doctor. Can’t, can’t, I can’t, I don’t even, Tim, can’t find, you know, I have to go way out into the sticks. Way out into the sticks if I want to find a doctor. Go way out into the country to find somebody they can’t afford to do business here in the city. The costs involved with running a practice are just too damn high. Again.
You know, you’re basically running it through an assembly line right now, as far as when you go to the doctor. Yeah, I just, I go to the med guy, get my blood checked every three months, make sure all my levels are good. Yeah, I’m out. Yeah, I’ll get a colonoscopy every five years. I’m good.
(02:53.612)
I’m good. It’s Wrecked it. We wrecked it. And it’s it’s by design. But again, we don’t have anybody that’s willing to fix it. I I’ve talked about this before. And I got flack from a lot of, you know, Republicans Trump’s first term.
getting mad at me saying that, know, it’s McCain’s fault. McCain gave the thumbs down.
Right. No. If it wasn’t McCain, McCain volunteered, but somebody else would have given it a thumbs down. It’s not like that they want to lead on this stuff. Not like they want to go out and teach. Once you start giving people free stuff, you know, in this country, you can’t stop. It’s funny. There was a story that popped up today and I don’t know why I clicked on it. It was in Yosemite. I haven’t been to Yosemite in 13 years, but I did love that park.
and they’re talking about how the squirrels in Yosemite are becoming very, very aggressive. Very aggressive, jumping at people, all sorts of stuff. Why? Well, because people go to the park, they feed the squirrels. Don’t feed the squirrels!
Once you start feeding the squirrels, the squirrels don’t wanna go out and grab their own food. They’re just gonna bother humans from now on looking for food. Same concept. Same exact concept. The only way I see, honestly, the only way I see through it at this point in time.

is quite frankly is you’re going to almost have to have a two-tier system. And what we kind of have with Medicaid, but again, how they have structured things now, as far as how they’re handling doctors with the whole corporate model and it’s owned by private equity and these massive groups, I don’t know if you could break that up. I’m sure a lot of doctors would love to get out of that.
and actually go back to actually practicing medicine once again. Could be me calling me crazy. But it’s almost like we have to go towards a national health service type of system. Single payer for certain people, but if you want out, you want to have your own doctors, you can do it that way. That’s it. That’s the only way I can fix this because you can’t put the genie back in a Watchdogonwallstreet.com.
