Yup, yup, House Speaker Mike Johnson. yes. He unveiled his 90 -day Band -Aid to avoid yet another government shutdown. Another Band Isn’t it amazing? Every year, Band -Aid after Band -Aid after Band -Aid. You see, you people in Congress, you have one job. One job. Your main job is appropriations.

and you can’t even do that. You can’t even do your damn job. But let me tell you something, this is by design. what did we tell you as well? Did we or did we not tell you that he was gonna pull the SAVE Act from the bill? He did.

He did, he pulled it from the bill. And let me tell you what they’ve got going on right here. This is just how you’re being duped. Okay, this is how you’re being ripped off. Not to mention, okay, here’s another load of junk. They’re giving that Secret Service another $231 million. Like more money is going to actually solve the problem. What a crock.

What a bunch of BS! But anyway, what’s interesting is this bill. You know what it punts to? it funds the government until when? December 20th. Every year. Every year they do this. They push it right before some vacation. Hey, this is perfect.

Let’s push it right before Christmas time. Then we’ll come up with some big omnibus spending bill at that point in time. The American public, they’re not paying attention to Christmas and Christmas shopping and no one’s paying attention to the news at that point in time. And then what we do is we shove this down the American people’s throats. In essence, all of the politicians that have been there for a long period of time get their little pork bale projects stuck into this grand omnibus bill and it doesn’t matter.

It doesn’t matter if it’s Republican or Democrat. You see, this is the thing, folks. Okay. I mean, the sound harsh here. Okay. I do a little bit of George Carlin here. You think you have a choice.

You think you have a choice. I laugh. I really do. I laugh at the end of these people out there. They think that there’s this big, big, massive, huge difference between the parties. Okay. It’s an illusion of choice. It’s an illusion of choice. That’s what we have here in this country. sure.

Sure, you have choice when it comes to what that you know the myriad of different coffee choices you can get at Starbucks or I don’t know a myriad of different breakfast cereal choices but a choice when it comes to running this country no way no how. These people both said that they’re buddies with one another for crying out loud.

They all know one another. They hang out with one another. They went to the same schools. Yeah, I saw this thing and I said to myself, I said, why even bother?

Why even, even, your vote counts. I don’t want to be a liar. Your vote counts. your vote may count, quite frankly. Your vote might count on a local level within your local community. And quite frankly, that’s what I advise people to do is pay closer attention to how your community is being run. Because the choices that we have at the federal level are, it’s few and far between, quite frankly. Very few.
