Shut the Damn Government Down!
(00:00.746)
Shut the damn government down. I’ve had it. I really have. I’m going to be guns blazing today on this. This is another big fat see I told you so moment when it comes to Republicans. Republicans make me pretty much sick to my stomach. They have for a very long period of time. That’s why I’m not a member of the Republican Party.
I’ll go back all the way back to the Tea Party days when Obama was first elected and speaking at Tea Party events and going after Republicans. Okay, because Republicans lie. They do. They lie because they say that they are for fiscal responsibility. They say they’re going to do something and they don’t.
They don’t, they lie. I don’t get it quite frankly. I’m pointing a finger at you people who actually go to Republican rallies and meetings. Why?
Why? Is there something wrong with you? Do you like being lied to and abused all the damn time? Thomas Massey, like myself, actually, you know, we actually talked about this three months ago. He gave a speech, gave a speech in Congress telling everyone exactly what was going to happen.
Congress and Republicans. we’re gonna have a Christmas shutdown. no, no Big Christmas shutdown. can’t have that Republicans are gonna be Scrooge. It’s bad politically

shut the government down. This is my child. He’s a disaster. I mean, he is an absolute utter disaster for this country. So we got a bipartisan deal. Okay. Again, they were supposed to have 72 hours. That’s what Johnson promised everybody so they can actually read the bill. That ain’t going to happen again. I judge it lied again. but he’s a good Christian man.
Follow through on what you’re going to say, man. How about that? How about following through on what you are going, what you promise? How about following through on that? Again, let me tell you what’s in this. $100 billion in relief to disaster victims and farmers. Disaster victims. I get it. I get it. we actually, people actually said, hey, OK, if we’re going to do this,
Let’s claw back money. Let’s claw back money from the Inflation Reduction Act. Let’s claw back money from this, that, whatever it may be. Let’s pay for this because we have a disaster. Much like, gee, many people I know here in the state of Florida have to make adjustments to their budget because, I don’t know, they lost three or four cars due to a hurricane. Why shouldn’t we have to adjust?
That’s a reasonable thing to do. Farmers, I don’t know why we’re constantly writing checks to farmers all the time. Don’t even get me started on all the farm checks that go to Park Avenue Dresses and Manhattan. OK, again, the deadline is Friday, Friday. this is this is going to keep keep the government open until March. we got all sorts of other things. Got to rebuild the Baltimore.
Collapse, Francis Scott Keybridge. how about this one? We’re going to expand the sale of ethanol.
(04:01.131)
What’s next? Are we gonna subsidize blacksmith shops?
Why? Why are we expanding ethanol? because it’s a handoff to big ag and big farmers who make this ridiculous thing called ethanol with corn when we could actually maybe producing, I don’t know, higher quality food here in the United States.
The proposal would extend current government funding until March 14th. Again, punting until the next Congress decisions on how much money to allocate to each federal agency for the remainder of the fiscal year, which runs all the way until September 30th. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Again, it’s got all sorts of pork, all sorts of nonsense.
in this. One of my favorite members of Congress, Tim Burchett, I quote, terrible night for the taxpayer, but what’s new? Enlisting all sorts of wasteful provisions. Nancy Mace, they’re cramming everything into one giant bill and guilt trip you if you vote against it. I’m all for hurricane relief, but stop trying to disguise reckless government spending. Again, Mike Johnson’s aware of the grumbling.
It was intended to be and was until recent days, a very simple, very clean CR, a stopgap funding measure. But other urgent needs emerged, he said. Again, Johnson is going to have to go to Democrats to pass this bill. Yeah, yeah, we should be disgusted by this. yeah. it’s got all sorts of stuff in here. Money.
(05:56.492)
money for Washington DC to redeveloped Robert F. Kennedy Stadium. We’re gonna put a new stadium there, because that’s exactly what we need right now. We go on and on and on in regards to the billions of dollars of reckless spending. Let’s couple that with the fact that we now have a Republican senators right now are battling, actually other Republican senators.
that they want to expand Social Security for again, people that aren’t supposed to be getting it because they get government pensions and this is you’re dealing with teachers when it comes to this as well. They’re calling this a big handout and giveaway. Okay, you want to do this. All right. Well, it’s going to cost the Social Security Fund about 200 billion plus dollars and it’s going to make Social Security go bankrupt one year earlier.
want to do it, pay for it. No, no, no, no, no, no, this is Congress. We don’t pay for anything. We don’t use any sort of sanity whatsoever. Got to give a shout out to Victoria Spartz. She is. Yeah, she’s basically not going to caucus with Republicans. She’s from Indiana. She’s going to no longer caucus with the party and she’s not going to sit on committees. All she wants to do is just work.
with Elon and Vivek on Doge. And quite frankly, I wish we had more members doing this. Thomas Massey is going to be doing it as well. As far as this CR bill, from what I’m hearing right now, Rand Paul, another one of the good guys, is looking to do what he can to scuttle this. Good. Shut the government down. Say it again. Shut it down.
This idea out there that it’s gonna be terrible politics, it’s gonna be terrible for Republicans. Give me a break, okay? Essential services are gonna continue to run. Shut it down. Shut it down. And I’m gonna also, I’m gonna call out the incoming president of the United States. Where are you, man?
(08:17.816)
Where are you? I gotta be like Commissioner Gordon here. We gotta put like the bat signal up. We gotta put the Trump signal up into the sky. We’re gonna put a T up there. Where are you on this? You should be calling out my judge. You should be calling out Republicans and saying, no, this ridiculous spending has to stop. I’m curious, curious where is Mr. Incoming President when it comes to this? Just some.
Some examples, some examples here of billions and billions and billions of dollars in waste that could be reallocated. This is just past couple of weeks here. this is just past couple of days. Biden and Harris are giving the California utility PG &E a $15 billion low interest loan, given them.
They also just gave $9.6 billion to Ford and a South Korean battery maker to help finance battery plants in Tennessee and Kentucky. They just gave Rivian $6.6 billion to build a factory in Georgia. Mind you, Rivian, again, another private concern, loses over $100,000 a vehicle. Let me ask you a question.
If you had six point six billion dollars to loan out, would you loan it out to a company that’s losing a hundred thousand dollars plus per vehicle? okay. Duke Energy. Well, they actually pulled back from there. I would go on and on and on. Take about all the yeah, here we go. Stellantis and Samsung seven points five billion dollar loan. And the list goes on and on. This is just your tax dollars.
At work and are you are you you’re proud to be a Republican, huh? You’re happy with the big win. What did you get so far? So far not so good So far big sellout just like we told you Yeah, we told you exactly what was gonna happen. Thomas Massey told you it was gonna happen Rand Paul did Tim Burchett Chip Roy others out there Again, this is your Republican Party. Watchdogonwallstreet.com.
