Rodney Dangerfield Does Davos!
(00:00.566)
Holy cow, it’s like Rodney Dangerfield at Bushwood. Yeah, Davos has been shaken up. Shaken up by Javier Malay from Argentina and Kevin Roberts from the Heritage Foundation. I can’t believe, I can’t believe they let these guys in. And again, you think about Caddy Shaq and Rodney Dangerfield there making fun of everybody and that’s exactly what you got.
So the president of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts, was there. He’s being interviewed. And he went off, talked about the forgotten people that are not heard from when it comes to Davos. And I quote, the forgotten people aren’t just poor or working class Americans of all ethnic backgrounds. There’s a lot of these forgotten people, as I’ve come to learn over the past few years, who are small business owners. Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
Again, the Davos crowd hates us. They hate small business owners. We don’t donate enough money to their cause. Politicians don’t like small business owners. They can’t stand us. People who scraped and saved, adding that many aren’t often inherently political. They all believe the same thing, which is that the American dream is slipping away from them. There was a panel discussion. And again,
can’t believe they allowed this to happen at Davos. It was what to expect from a possible Republican administration. He also had ex-Senator Rob Portman. He also had George Baker from the Wall Street Journal that was there. Basically going after the Davos mentality. And again, they went back to Donald Trump and talking about retribution. And you know, Donald Trump,
comes back, he regains office, and that the World Economic Forum’s purported defense of liberal democracy could be swept under the rug by Donald Trump. And it was great. His response was, it’s laughable that you or anyone would describe Davos as protecting liberal democracy. It’s equally laughable to use the word dictatorship at Davos.

and aim that at President Trump. He says, in fact, I think that’s absurd. And again, people have been listening to this podcast and again, I’ve had my criticisms of Donald Trump, but I’ve also pointed out very succinctly that the crap that the left is throwing out at him and he’s some sort of dictator and attack at, it’s patently absurd. Anyway, anyway.
The thing I want to drive home here, the very reason that I’m here at Davos, Kevin Roberts, is to explain to many people in this room and who are watching with all due respect, nothing personal, that you are part of the problem. He said elites in the vein of the World Economic Forum tell average people the reality is X, when in fact the reality is Y. These are on issues ranging from border security to climate change. I go on because we talk about this all the time here on the program.
uh, the economy at large. You know, we try to teach people here on the program to be your own do it yourself economists for crying out loud. You can’t trust the information that’s coming from the government. Um, again, basically he talked about the forgotten people that would be in the, uh, a Republican administration. Um, the kind of person will come into the next conservative administration is going to be governed by one principle. And that is destroying the grass.
that political elites and elected technocrats have over the average person. And he said, I will be candid. This is genius. I will be candid and say that the agenda that every single member of the next administration needs to have is to compile a list of everything, everything that’s ever been proposed at the World Economic Forum and object to all of them wholesale. And again, you know, I can talk about.
Javier Malé who went there and ripped into socialism and all the policies of socialism and what it did to Argentina. Again, I’m shocked. I’m shocked that they let these guys through security at this place. Anyway, good for Javier Malé and good for Kevin Robertson and hopefully good for the future of this country and the future of the world. And again, it’s one of the things that people in my opinion
(04:51.702)
they get wrong when it comes to the whole concept, oh, America first, and you get, no. America first means, let’s, again, my belief in America first, I know the left doesn’t think of it this way, it’s we need to get our house in order, we need to become the shining city on a hill, we need to be the example to the entire world. When the United States is doing well, when we’re doing well, guess what? Everyone is going to do well. It’s just that simple. Watchdog on wallstreet.com.
