Remember COVID Lockdowns? Commemorating the “15 Days” Lie
(00:01.07)
15 days to stop the spread. It’s been four years. Four years where we basically as a country, we kind of figured out who we are. And we take a good look at the mirror, good hard look in the mirror. What do we become? We don’t pay much attention to our constitution. We don’t give a damn about our constitution.
We decided that it’s no problem. We’re gonna torch freedom. That’s what we’re gonna do. We’re just going to burn it all down. I have a very difficult time talking about that period of time. I really, really do. And my long time listeners, people who follow what we do here know we spent a lot of time talking about this while it was in play.
Can I have a very difficult time? Personally, just psychologically dealing with stupidity or lack of logic and reason. It physically, it really, really that entire period of time tore me apart. It’s almost I have a, I have to actually, you know, I have to take a file cabinet, lock box in my brain.
over the things that transpired over that period of time, I’ve got to almost dig into my mind. You ever have that, you know, certain things you’ve got to go dig back and think about because it’s almost like your brain operates to kind of almost protect you from awful periods of time, memories that you don’t want to revisit. And that period of time, without a doubt.
It is one of those things. One of those periods. And I’ve spent the past couple of weeks putting some things together, actually preparing. I kind of wrote this date down here, March 15th, Friday, for our podcast that we were going to go over this and revisit where we decided, well, we as Americans, we showed our true colors, red, white and blue.
(02:22.222)
proud to be an American. No, no, listen, people. We all live under this illusion that we are free, that we’re not ruled over. And it’s been played out. It’s been played out. We all know it. Grabbed a piece by Jeff Tucker from the Brownstone Institute and clever. He started off his
Peace. Shakespeare. Beware the Ides of March. Yep. Warning Julius Caesar about what turned about his doom on March 15th. He writes, the death of American liberty happened around the same time, four years ago, when the orders went out from all levels of government to close all indoor and outdoor venues where people.
Gather. No law. Not law, the land. Nobody, nobody voted on this. And probably, you know, the people that are in power, they’re such a bunch of, you know, chicken shits anyway, they wouldn’t even want to vote on.
(03:44.206)
All of a sudden, we had bureaucrats. Bureaucrats basically uniting, telling basically all of our authorities, the executives there, mayors, governors, presidents, that the only way you can deal with the respiratory virus, the only way out there to deal with the respiratory virus is to take the
Bill of Rights, take freedom and burn it. Scrap it. Scrap it. We don’t need that. And not only did we do away with freedom here in the United States, they did away with it all over the world. I’ll go back in time here. Started March 6, actually in Austin, Texas, that South by Southwest Festival.
Um, was shut down, was shut down. The mayor, mayor, uh, listening to his health experts, uh, basically said, no, we’re, we’re going to shut that. There was, there wasn’t a single case of COVID in Austin, but they, they shut it down. And that was the first, it was the first signs of the zero COVID strategy. Um, that was our original policy here in the United States and then became the policy.
where China really went through with it over there. Okay, we had that. Donald Trump went on TV and said that everything was under control. Everything’s under control, but he was stopping all travel in and out of the United States from Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and told all Americans that were abroad that they needed to be back.
by Monday or they were going to be stuck. Gee, what happened after that? Panic, everybody panicked, rushed to the airport, had to spend ungodly sums of money on tickets to get home, crowded airports, that’s great, but a respiratory virus by the way, eight hours, airport standing shoulder to shoulder. There wasn’t gonna be any sort of sanity.
(06:10.958)
There wasn’t going to be any sort of logic or reason in the tactics that the regime, when I talk about the regime, I’m talking about the Donald Trump regime. I’m talking about the deep state regime. I’m talking about a bipartisan regime because both sides, elephants and donkeys, were behind this 110%. No historical record of any American president ever issuing global travel restrictions without a declaration of war.
We’ve all kind of taken it for granted that we could buy a ticket and come home. That was no longer possible. Then we got to a point in time where certain states, states had rules that you were supposed to follow. God, now this is what I’m talking about. This is where it’s hard. Okay. All of these things that happened that again, I was so angry about.
At the time I was so ticked off about at the time that again, I just, they pop into my head. I remember coming back into New York. Hey, you remember you that they did checks. You had the national guard at the airport and you had these forms that you had to fill out. And then they would follow up with you with texts. I remember getting off an airplane and actually.
Dodging National Guard like I was in some sort of third world country escaping escaping the authorities and I outran them. I escaping the National Guard at the airport member doing that. Anyway, you’re popping into my head. Yeah. Having to take covid test covid tests.
at the airport in Florida in order to get back to New York. It’s just anyway, get back here. Time frame, time frame. Yeah, this is going to be, you know, buckle in people. We’re going to be here for a while on this one. And let me tell you something. It’s again, I may be opening up some of your, your memories and your mind that you don’t want, maybe not want to go into, but I don’t care. Mark Friday, March 13th, Broadway closed.
(08:40.474)
New York City began to empty out. Yeah, it was like, we’re out of here. We’re out of here. People were leaving the state, going out to the Hamptons, kind of saw the writing on the wall. Can I speak into friends of mine that own restaurants, they were already warned. They’re already basically told, we’re gonna shut you down. They’re talking to a buddy of mine owns a.
Greek restaurant in our town and he didn’t know what they’s like, they’re gonna shut me down. I don’t know what I’m gonna do. What I’m going to do. And I start talking to other people in the industry like I don’t know what we’re gonna do. Anyway, Trump declared a national emergency. He invoked the Stafford Act, which triggers powers and resources to the federal emergency FEMA.
Management Administration. Department of Health and Human Services issued a classified document that was released to the public months later that you can’t even get your hands on anymore. It doesn’t exist anymore government website. It was the US government COVID -19 response plan. This is March 13th. And this was going to be led by a task force led by Mike.
Pence and a whole of government approach governors, state and local officials, members of Congress developed the best options for safety, well -being, and health of the American people. Closures were guaranteed. Again, recommended limiting, significantly limiting public gatherings and cancellation of all sporting events, performances, public and private meetings that
not be convened by phone. Consider school closures, issue widespread stay at home directives for public and private organizations with nearly 100 % telework for some. Although critical public services and infrastructure may need to retain skeleton crews. Law enforcement could shift the focus more on crime prevention as routine monitoring of storefronts could be important. Important. Important. People boarding up with cities.
(10:53.742)
boarding up cities like there was a massive hurricane coming.
um yeah the vaccine was already kind of pre -approved in this thing there you know talking about partner with pharmaceutical industry produce antivirals and vaccine national security council put in charge of policy making the cdc was basically the marketing
(11:23.438)
Did it not feel like martial law to you? Did to me. Most certainly did. But what’s interesting, this document came out on March 13th, okay? And this is how the Trump administration, the powers that be are lying to us. That came out, came out. But according to Mike Pence, Deborah Birx, Jared Kushner, you know, they didn’t meet with Trump.
until the weekend of the 14th and 15th, that’s Saturday and Sunday. And Trump reluctantly agreed to do the 15 days to stop the spread. Yep, and on Monday, March 16th, all public, this is Donald Trump’s line, all public and private venues where people gather should be closed. Again, that decision was already made.
was made at that point in time.
So again, it’s either Trump knew or the Department of Homeland Security put that document together without Trump’s knowledge. And at this point in time, everybody’s sticking to their story. No one, Trump is yet to explain. Notice that he has yet to explain the timeline. When he decided to green light the lockdowns, he avoids any sort of.
conversation when it comes to this, aside from the fact that he doesn’t take enough credit for his handling of the pandemic. That’s the only news we got. You want to think about that. You think about, remember the 9 -11 Commission, how much time was spent on the 9 -11 Commission. Guys with box cutters taking over airplanes. The amount, and all of the intelligence failures. Have we had any sort of real look?
(13:23.054)
what happened? Of course not. Of course not because these guys are gonna be looking into themselves. Anyway, back to the piece. With Nixon, the famous question was always, what did he know and when did he know it? When it comes to Trump and insofar as concerns COVID lockdowns,
Unlike the fake allegations of collusion with Russia, we have no investigations. To this day, no one in the corporate media seems even slightly interested in why, how, or when human rights got abolished by bureaucratic edict. Again, we broke the labor force into essential and non -essential. There was censorship protocols that were put.
into place. I was victim of that. Eight days into the 15 days to stop the spread, Trump announced that he wanted to open the country by Easter, which was April 12th. That was already an extension of the 15 days. Then we had Burks and Fauci coming out and asking for an additional 30 days of lockdowns, which Trump granted.
April 23rd, Trump was upset with Kemp and Georgia and DeSantis in Florida because they wanted to reopen. He told him it was too soon. He fought publicly with Kemp and Georgia was the first state to open up. Before that 15 days was up, the CARES Act was put into play. Two trillion
dollars. Two trillion dollars states, businesses, individuals basically assuring that the lockdowns would continue.
(15:24.014)
there was never, never any sort of exit plan. Beyond, yeah, Berks, Berks, remember, the boys call a scarf queen, that she wanted zero COVID cases in the country, which again, anybody that has layman’s knowledge of respiratory disease knows that that is a complete impossibility, never going to happen. In fact, you know, the virus had been.
here since October of 2019. And actually, they did a study of where it was in California, talking about how immunity was already widespread in certain counties in California because it had been there for such a long period of time. Again, you go back, you think back, you think about what happened to this country over that period of time.
pooped up in their homes, pointing their fingers at one another. 20, summer of 2020, the disaster. People angry, had a lash out, latching on to the whole George Floyd situation. Riots, which were allowed to happen. Again, the logic and reason thrown out the door. Racism was a virus and racism’s virus is worse than the COVID virus. So you can go out.
outside and you can protest and do whatever the hell you want and wreck things and break things. Again, no logic or reason. Nothing. Nothing. About that time, around that time, that’s when a guy that was sidelined in the entire thing, all of a sudden Trump started listening, I guess, a little bit to Dr. Scott.
started urging states to reopen. The president started tweeting about this, getting hammered in the media. In fact,
(17:32.718)
and Trump, well, he opened up Pandora’s box. The Greek story of Pandora, everything comes out and you can’t put it back in. They say according to various accounts, Trump at that point in time was convinced that the whole effort was a mistake, that he had been trolled into wrecking.
country he promised to make great. It’s too late, Donald. Mail -in ballots already approved. Country was a mess. Media, public health bureaucrats ruling the airwaves. He played a part of that as well. He couldn’t help himself. Couldn’t help himself. Remember every day at freaking, what was it, four or five o ‘clock in the afternoon, a briefing that they would have from the White House? Couldn’t help himself.
Fauci, Trump, I mean, it was a… You go back and you think about how stupid it all was. Again, it’s like out of the movie Idiocracy. How stupid were we? Well, not all of us. Ah, election. Many people predicted that once Biden took office, the vaccine was released, COVID would be declared beaten. That didn’t happen. Ah, didn’t happen.
many people were all in on getting the vaccine, more pushback coming. Joe Biden wanted to have his COVID checks as well and stimulus plans. So he decided to keep the COVID scam going so he could do the same thing. I remember at that point in time, it was the war of vaccines. You had four major cities in the country closed, all public accommodations to the unvaccinated.
who were being demonized for prolonging the panic. Remember your little vax cards? I remember I was with my buddies. My buddies, we were they had Dave Matthews concert. Yeah, Dave Matthews concert at Jones Beach. And the rules were you had to be vaccinated. And a lot of people weren’t vaccinated. We were passing back our vax cards like we were in.
(19:59.924)
college, passing back our driver’s licenses to get into bars. It’s how stupid the whole thing was. You think that we don’t know, I still don’t know what happened four years ago at this point in time, who made the decisions, why, and there hasn’t been really any sort of effort out there.
to figure out.
(20:39.566)
country. Ryan McMackin from the Mises Institute, another interesting piece. Administration instructing all members of the public to listen and follow the directions of your state and local authorities.
(21:01.23)
Let me tell you how I think of authorities. Okay, again, I disdain for them before all this, but this is put it up on steroids to me. Do you remember in the beginning of Godfather 1, the wedding scene, the FBI is in the parking lot at the wedding, and Sonny finds out about it and he goes out there and he’s like, what’s going on here? And he goes over to the…
(21:38.892)
nothing. Then he takes the camera. I either take it pictures, he up and I take it smashes the thing onto the ground. And then throws money at the guy. Yeah, yes, that’s me. I just I gotta be honest when it comes to authorities when it comes to government. Yeah, I channeled my inner sunny Corleone. I have, you know, you like to think of yourself as being cool and calculated.
as Michael, but I got some confessions to make. Again, it’s just things popping back into my mind that happened during that period of time that I’ve kind of talked away. I didn’t want to remember.
(22:28.396)
Two occasions, two occasions where.
I almost got violent with people. Two occasions where I, again, almost went full sunny Corleone on people. One of, you know, I’m getting a cup of coffee. I don’t know where I was going. All I know is I was getting a cup of coffee at a coffee shop. And this is back when the rules were you could sit down at a restaurant and you could take your mask off and have your coffee and eat and drink. I don’t know if this is everywhere, but this was in New York.
and you could eat and drink while you were sitting down, but when you stood up, you had to put your mask on. Like, that was gonna make any difference. Like if you’re sitting down eating, you couldn’t actually spread, respiratory virus wouldn’t go into the air, but only if you were standing up. And I’m waiting in line to get a coffee at this coffee shop and I had my mask down and give a damn. I was kind of like semi following what was going on. And…
Guy in line started yelling at me, I’m not gonna do any good like that. I turned around and I almost decked him. I came that close.
I came that close to punching the guy. Another example as well, I’m at an Italian restaurant with our friends. Same rules apply. Everybody’s sitting down, eating at the table, mask off. But if you had to get up to go to the bathroom, you had to have your mask on. I must have probably had a few too many glasses of wine at that point in time. Because again, I really admit, I was drinking way too much during that period. Got up, without my mask. I wasn’t going to wear it anyway at that point in time. Uh -uh.
(24:14.988)
And one of the words starts, you Oh, you got to put your mask on. Again, I almost decked them. I was like, you know, stop, stop. Anyway, that’s just me. I, again, I could never be an enforcer of stupidity and I don’t know how people were able to do that. And then I, you know, I think about it after the fact and I don’t know, they probably didn’t want to get in trouble with the authorities might want to shut the restaurant down. I know.
Again, like to think of yourself as cool and calculated, but I guess they push you, your sunny Corleone comes out. And again, that happened to me. Again, this is back from the Mises Institute, Ryan McCacken’s piece. American president for the first time in American history introduced the idea that it was possible and perfectly legal.
for government institutions to close down the economy by forcibly shutting en masse countless businesses, schools, churches. Trump repeatedly said in press conferences, it was up to the government officials to decide if we open up. It quickly became apparent standard procedure for health bureaucrats, governors, and media figures to casually speak of closing the economy or opening up as if we were,
talking about a coffee shop deciding on closing time. Again, as I said, I know going through this is going to open up that box in my mind. Bill Ackman, hedge fund guy on CNBC tanking the market. He knew exactly what he was doing. Tanked.
the stock market so he could make money for himself. He went on and did this sad story about, we gotta shut the country down for six months. I don’t want my father to die, all this crap. He knew exactly what he was doing and why it was gonna affect the markets and it tanked the markets. And he shorted the markets and made money on the damn thing.
(26:24.268)
Anyway, across the country, many stories that we hear on a regular basis, local law enforcement officers working to arrest and harass business owners, worshipers at church, soccer moms at a park, and any that’s the had the balls to venture outdoors and do activities not approved by the ruling class.
It’s happened to me a couple of times. Again.
My inner sunny Corleone came out. I got sick and tired. That came around May and June of that year. And I decided to hold Black Market, I called them Black Market lacrosse practices. And it wasn’t just lacrosse. I was basically opening up my own summer camp.
if you will, old school. And this is what this time it was for high school kids. My son’s and daughter’s friends were come out, we would, you know, park, I would organize a lacrosse practice, we would play basketball, we did kickball, we played wiffle ball till I got caught.
(27:51.116)
till I got caught by some Karen or Chad and got us trouble, got kicked off one field. Then I found another one behind a church. And then the church found out about it and kicked me off there too.
(28:11.756)
You know, to this day, I mean, I know that the people that, you know, were behind this and shutting it down and part of the I call them mask holes. I’m not the only one because you still see mask holes walking around that those people, you know, with their social media posts, the stay home, stay safe, you know, those types. I remember who they are and they most certainly know who I am as well. And.
I speak to them. I see them, you know, they’re few and far between. It’s tyranny the minority. There are a few of them in our town. And yeah, when I walk by them, I give them the stare down.
(28:57.068)
Anyway, there was a few of us out there that were very much committed to human rights, private property, the Bill of Rights, freedom, logic and reason. But I discovered I discovered just how little how powerless, how powerless I really, really was.
And we watched it around the country happen to, you know, dissenters or people that actually push back. We don’t have, I mean, we kind of talk about this, teach our kids about constitution rule of law. There’s no rule of law. There was no rule of law when it came to COVID. There was no law. The regime took over. The authorities took over.
in this emergency that we went through. I think back to this piece. True power is revealed by emergencies. As a COVID panic revealed to us, the real de facto ruling class is the executive state, which effortlessly ruled by decree during the COVID crisis. This ruling clique, an oligarchy of governors, academic experts, media billionaires, and countless nameless and faceless unelected bureaucrats,
has illustrated in recent years how irrelevant elected lawmakers can be to the abuse and use of political power.
Again, you know how you demonstrate this is that the entire, the entire thing, as I mentioned before, the entire lockdown was bipartisan, thoroughly bipartisan. Opposition to lockdowns was virtually non -existent.
(31:02.378)
Any of them, any of the institutions, they all band together. They all did the exact same thing. Where did the resistance come from? People like myself, people that aren’t members of the big club, the non -elites, ordinary people, ordinary people being persecuted by the state.
(31:29.612)
Now, how did this work? I mean, you would think, how did they pull? Again, you gotta think about how this was pulled off. And again, this is the, so, you know, I’m not buying into the, Trump didn’t really know what was going on. Trump knew exactly what was going on. Okay. There would have been a lot more pushback, a lot more pushback, probably maybe violent, much more violent pushback against the government. But they got away with it because they threw money at everybody.
They essentially bribed everybody. Bribed everybody, couldn’t evict anybody, no more student loans, stimulus checks, handouts to businesses, all this stuff. They essentially bribe people, dump tons of money into unemployment.
(32:29.164)
I remember. I remember was the next round of stimulus checks coming out and listening to a local local radio station here, and there was a jewelry store advertising, you know, you get your stimulus checks, come to our jewelry store and buy jewelry with Mike. It was surreal to me, the entire thing surreal.
And again, it was like living in idiocracy, but it hasn’t gone away. People, we showed our true colors. We showed what this nation is really all about and
Again, like I said, I don’t like opening up that file cabinet in my mind for that period of time. And I could tell a hundred other stories as you could as well. What’s sad right now is that we almost kind of like pretending like it didn’t happen.
Four years out, just as four years, four years out, it’s like we don’t talk about anymore. Pretend like it didn’t happen. It’s like we’re embarrassed as a nation to some degree. I don’t know, maybe that’s the case. My question is whether or not we learned anything from it. And with that, I’m not so sure. I’m not so sure. Watchdog on wallstreet .com.
