Really Dumb Stock Market Pundits
(00:00.43)
really, really dumb stock market pundits. I’ve been dealing with these folks for some time. So we got on Thursday, we had a situation where the news broke was after the markets, after the markets had already closed, that the jury reached a verdict. And then you had,
a pundit, pundit, this Breitbart economics reporter, John Carney was on Fox Business and he declared and decreed that the stock markets were going to crash, gonna crash if there’s a conviction, but he says, you know what, they’ll bounce back because the American people will vote him into president, will vote him into the White House. That’s…
an outrageous trial. Okay. Okay. you know, the markets didn’t crash on Friday. I, again, this is the thing about the stock market pundits that they continue to bring on that are wrong again and again and again and again. they’re never held accountable for their stupid predictions. People forget, the, the actual anchors on the program. They never hold these people accountable for their stupid predictions.
it’s amazing that these, these pundits that are wrong all the time, they have no humility whatsoever. I’ve had a lot of experience with this over the years with various different major global events where I’ve been called upon by networks to come on and talk about the impending doom crash, whatever it may be. Brexit, Brexit, I remember Fox news. So it was on Fox and friends as a matter of fact, you know,
The stock market. my God. The futures markets were down early when Brexit was coming down the pike. And what does this mean for the markets? And this is going to be anarchy cats living with dogs. What’s going to happen? Go on the program. And again, I think that they were kind of upset with me because I was calm and I wasn’t feeding in to all of the nonsense that they were pitching. You know, who was hosting the show that morning?
(02:27.438)
was, what’s her name there? crying out loud. She used to work at Fox and then she went over to The View a little bit there. What’s her father was from, wasn’t he governor of Utah? It’ll come to me in a second. But anyway, neither here nor there. I’m like, everything will be fine. Take a deep breath. Everything is going to calm itself down. No big deal, no issue. It’s nothing but computer.
algorithmic traders, but then you know all these pundits, but but but but the here come the the butt monkeys coming out. You know, this is gonna happen. That’s gonna come come then it happened again. You know, donald trump wins the election versus hillary clinton stock march market futures were down. you had the liberals out there the paul krugman’s all these people out there sky’s gonna fall world’s gonna end and I had phone calls two three o ‘clock in the morning. Can you come on?
Can you come on here this morning to deal with the impending stock market crash Trump election? I’m like, sure, but stock markets knock a crash, it’s fine. Everything’s gonna be just fine. But, but, but, but again, the goal by these business networks and why they have these irresponsible pundits on, it’s not for their listeners to do the right thing with their portfolio. It’s get the people going to get you worked up.
to get you paying attention, to sell advertisements. In many cases, you go on the sites to get more clicks. They don’t have your best interests at heart. People never have, never will. Watchdog on wallstreet .com.
