Google Better Get Its Act Together
(00:00.91)
We’ve covered some of the crazy crap going on at Google with their AI product Gemini and it’s mind boggling stuff. But it’s a bit of a warning here. I know some people said, well, geez, whiz, Google, go woke, go broke. Google’s not Bud Light. It’s not Bud Light. It’s not a matter of saying, OK, I’m going to go drink Miller Lite instead.
Google has got its tentacles into everything. Again, my kids have to use it for school and Google Docs and a myriad of different things out there. But without a doubt that the companies change, but the company also needs to get its act together. I’ve seen this before. I’ve seen this before and it happened, quite frankly,
with Microsoft. Microsoft got fat, happy, and quite frankly, lazy for a long period of time. You remember the, the just for FTC, they tried to break up Microsoft at one point in time, but Microsoft continued to put out lousy products, bad browsers, operating systems.
Windows, millennia, there were so many bad things that they were doing. But again, they were so ingrained that they really didn’t go away. But again, eventually they forced people’s hands, mine included. I gave up on Windows based products a long time ago and I’m gonna go probably around 2006, 2007, I haven’t gone back.
sense and I’m obviously full ingrained in the Apple Borg at this point in time. But for the most part, I’m quite happy with their products and everything goes along with it. I mentioned last year, I said, I finally had to get a new desktop computer, but it lasted me 10 plus years. Which is extraordinary, if you actually think about it. I mean, I was lucky to get a year and a half to two years out of.

regular products, you know, Windows based products not too long ago. But anyway, Google’s not doing much right now. And they’re enjoying this position that they’re in. And they’re, again, it’s a cash machine, without a doubt. But even blue chips die. My friends, if you want to call Google a tech blue chip. Yeah, I would call Google a tech blue chip.
Again, how long this will last for, I don’t know, can go on for an extended period of time, but it’s most certainly something that we’re going to be keeping our eyes on. If you remember with Google’s original, what was their original motto there is don’t be evil. The crap that they put out over the past that we’ve seen over the past several weeks with the AI product can be described as nothing but evil for crying out loud. So again,
Again, I know a lot of people are looking at this kind of like hoping to some degree that please get your act together. Please get you that they want Google get there. I did. The people don’t want to change. They don’t want to have to change everything up or go on to other systems, whatever it may be, but they will eventually. They will eventually. And again, all I got to tell you is just go back and you take a look at where Apple was and where Microsoft was, where they were.
And the change and the amount of business that Apple was able to take based upon the fact, remember the advertisements that they ran there. It was Christmas ads, basically making fun of Windows operating systems and everything not working and downloading drivers for this device and that device and their expectations, everything went out, but you plug it in and it works. Again, go woke, go broke, I don’t know.
if that’s going to apply with Google. But unless they start getting their act together and start putting out some quality products, people will start to drift away. It’s inevitable. Watchdog on wallstreet .com.
