Merrick Garland Is Sergeant Schultz
(00:00.47)
So we got another committee, Merrick Garland’s in front of Congress and it’s the same crap. Again and again and again, you’ve got a person that’s in charge of the Department of Justice. And it’s a Sergeant Schultz routine. I see nothing, I know nothing, I see nothing. Again, you’re in charge, are you not? Supposedly, you know.
Merrick Garland doesn’t believe that he should be paying attention to what his underlings are doing. The most interesting takeaway was the fact that they were talking about an attorney, this Weiss character that was appointed by Donald Trump. That was his excuse again and again. But it was appointed by Trump. It was appointed by Trump. One Congresswoman was Harriet Hagman.
out of Wyoming, basically put it to him and said, Mr. Garland, one of the things you’ve done and repeated over and over again is to point out that Mr. Weiss was appointed as U.S. Attorney by President Trump, as though that somehow inoculates him from criticism by us. Is that really how this game is played?
that if someone is appointed by a Republican, then they’re supposed to be on the Republican team. Or if they’re appointed by a Democrat, they’re on the Democrat team. You were appointed by Biden, weren’t you? Are you on the Democrat team? And that was the last time that Garland used that excuse, the Trump excuse that was there. You’re talking about, I don’t have any respect for this guy. He can watch us, a very weak man. But again, this is what we’ve devolved.
into as a country and a society. We’ve got all of these problems, all these things that we’re dealing with. And we just continually watch this nonsense again and again and again. I don’t understand it. This is the point that we try to make here on the program here. I’m an equal opportunity basher and so should you be you should be too. You should hold everybody to okay you should hold your side to account to a greater degree than the other side.

Just that simple. It’s kind of like the same way that, you know what? You should be judging yourself. You look yourself in the mirror and you say, you know, how can I improve? Republicans, you know, basically saying, oh, it’s the Democrats’ fault. Democrats saying, it’s the Republicans’ fault. Rinse and repeat. Where has that gotten us at this point in time? It’s lessons from some of these hearings. It’s gotten us nowhere. It’s gotten us $33 trillion in debt. We got a country where only two out of 10 people.
Two out of 10 people trust, trust the government to do what they’re supposed to do. Trust government agencies, the efficiencies. Do you understand how bad that is? We’re the United States of America. And look at what we’ve devolved into. Watchdogonwallstreet.com.
