(00:00.686) All right, Truck Wars. It’s interesting. I found this fascinating. First and foremost, full disclosure, I’m kind of excited. I want to see what Tesla is going to have, what their Cybertruck comes out this year. Let’s see. But he’s kind of anticipating that. This past week, Ford actually signed a deal with Tesla. […]
(00:00.686) This whole Federal Reserve interest rate, ah, what are they going to raise again? Ah, inflation is sticky. Ah, it’s giving me angina for crying out loud. The Federal Reserve can’t fix inflation with higher rates. Can’t do it. Powell, Federal Reserve, they have zero control, zero control over fiscal policy. They have zero […]
(00:00.834) So, yep, the FTC has put Amazon again in the crosshairs. Lena Kahn, who we’ve talked about here on the podcast and the radio show, she’s almost like a cross between Glenn Close and Fatal Attraction and Ann Wilkes from the movie Misery. Talk about obsessed. This woman is obsessed with Amazon going back […]
(00:01.13) Okay, we’re gonna play a little game here today. Have a little fun, little connect the dots. And major stories here, and it’s quite fascinating. The media has their inability to kind of put things together and how they’re related, and they are. Everything from the dust up on the house floor yesterday to […]

I don’t know of any real true straight down the middle journalistic endeavor that that’s […]

I often receive queries about this issue after each Fed meeting, and here is our answer: Speculating what the Fed is going to do next is an exercise in futility. The investment world and media loves the proverbial dog and pony show […]
Read Part 1 here. Anyone wonder why cars are so expensive these days? General Motors recently announced their plans to invest over a billion dollars in two Michigan plants to manufacture next-generation heavy-duty trucks. Weren’t they planning to go fully electric by 2035? Why would they be investing heavily in the production of combustion-engine vehicles? […]
This month’s Twitter announcement by Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida was not without its fair share of hiccups. Some were characterizing the whole attempt as botched and unorthodox, but in reality, does it change anything? Regardless of the imperfect execution, hard funds flowed in like we have never seen before. It wouldn’t be an irrational […]
We at Markowski Investments have been trying to drive one fact home for decades: whether it be a proverbial bull market or bear it will never change our core principals nor the objectives for our clients. In other words, we really could care less about conventional wisdom of the day that the chattering classes are force-feeding […]
